Stanislaw Ostoja, NovaNano Chairman, announced today that NovaNano will provide its first launch brokering service to its South Korean customer: the Open Source Satellite Initiative (OSSI). The contract, signed with OSSI director, Mr. Hojun Song, foresees the launch in August 2012 of 1 CubeSat class nanosatellite into low earth orbit on the Soyuz rocket launched from Baikonour cosmodrome. NovaNano provides the access to space for the South Korean customer through a brokering agreement with TsSKB-Progress and with the use of its in-house developed separation mechanism for nanosatellites - the FlyMate.
Spas Balinov, NovaNano Chief Executive Officer, announced today that NovaNano will provide in 2012 its first launch brokering service for small satellites on board a Soyuz launch vehicle launched from Baikonour Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. See the press release.

Le Bourget is the world's biggest international trade fair for the aerospace business and is held in the Paris area. OSEO Innovation (National Innovation Agency) grants NovaNano the Prêt Participatif d'Ammorçage (PPA) low-interest loan. The PPA loan shall allow NovaNano to prepare the first investment round.

The grant of 300k€ shall allow NovaNano to accelerate the development of NovaSat program - the next generation nanosatellite bus.
